Strength & Conditioning Coach
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and athletic individual who believes they can make a positive impact in the lives of people from all walks of life, to join our team as a Strength & Conditioning Coach. We are a multidisciplinary team of both rehabilitation and fitness professionals working together in a 3600sf private, fully outfitted fitness facility and rehabilitation clinic.The successful candidate will work alongside our Chiropractor, Registered Massage Therapist and other Strength & Conditioning Coaches. We follow a holistic, patient-centred rehab approach personalizing all care and workout plans to the individual in front of us. We work together as a team to bridge the gap between rehab and exercise for our clients to help them enjoy a happy & healthy life. Key Responsibilities
- Complete thorough client-centered assessments including functional movement analysis, capacity testing and client history.
- Design and implement customized exercise programs aimed to reach the client’s goals while also improving capacity and movement restrictions.
- Continuously evaluate client progress and adapt programs as needed
- Execute programs safely and effectively, creating a motivating and fun environment for clients
- Work one-on-one with clients in a private or semi-private environment and with small (~6) groups
- Work on exercise programs with rehab clients as instructed by DEL.FIT Rehab Professionals
- Maintain accurate and complete client records, assessment notes and required correspondence
- Communicate with referral sources both within and outside of our facility to build positive relationships and ensure clients receive exceptional care
- Outstanding focus on providing excellent customer service to ensure clients are comfortable and educated on their programming
- Collaborate with other DEL.FIT team members while fostering a positive and clean working environment
Qualifications:
- Personal Training/ Strength & Conditioning Certificate (NSCA, CPTN, or CSEP preferred)
- University Degree in Kinesiology or related field (Asset)
- 3-5 years of experience with a broad age demographic
- Registered Kinesiologist (Strong Asset)
- Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization Certification, FRC/FMS/SFMA experience, Certification in Nutrition/ other specialty (Asset)
- Strong understanding of Human Anatomy, Biomechanics, and Exercise Physiology
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a high motivation to build a clientele, superior communication and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the DEL.FIT Team
- Proactive and action oriented, high attention to detail

Job Type: Part/Full Time Independent Contractor
Salary: Percentage Based - Expected renumeration for a full time Coach should exceed $80,000/year depending on hours worked and experience
