Dr. Riley Durbano
DC, ATC
Chiropractor
Hi, I’m Riley Durbano, a dual-certified Chiropractor and Athletic Trainer at DEL.FIT Strength &
Wellness. I was born and raised in Barrie, Ontario, and I’m excited to be back home, serving the
community that has always held a special place in my heart.
My journey into healthcare began through my love of sport. Growing up playing softball, I had
the opportunity to continue competing at the NCAA level at Lake Superior State University,
where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training along with an Associate’s degree
in Health and Fitness. From there, I continued my education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in
Davenport, Iowa, where I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Throughout my education and career, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with athletes at all
levels. While at Palmer, I served as an Athletic Trainer for both the Men’s and Women’s Rugby
programs. After graduation, I moved to Virginia, where I spent 3.5 years as the Assistant
Athletic Trainer for the Men’s and Women’s Rugby programs while also opening and growing
my own chiropractic clinic.
My treatment approach combines a variety of techniques, including soft tissue therapy, neuro-
functional acupuncture, dry needling, active rehabilitation, and spinal and joint manipulation. I
believe that care should be tailored specifically to each individual and their goals—not based on
a one-size-fits-all approach.
My goal is to help patients get healthy and back to doing what they love in as few visits as
possible. I place a strong emphasis on patient independence, using personalized home exercise
programs and education to give you the tools and confidence to manage your health outside of
the clinic.
While I welcome anyone who comes through my door looking for help, I have a particular
interest in working with athletes, weekend warriors, and prenatal and postpartum moms.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll usually find me with my two miniature dachshunds, Loumi
and Willy, watching sports (Go Leafs Go) or staying active, participating in road races and
Crossfit classes. I also love spending time with friends, whether that means travelling across the
U.S for a weekend visit, heading to a concert, or catching up over a good cup of coffee.
I’m incredibly excited to join the dynamic team at DEL.FIT Strength & Wellness and to be back
in the community that I call home. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you move,
feel, and perform your best!
